Senior Elixir / Phoenix LiveView Engineer

I make my living as a software developer with experience in Elixir, Ruby,
PHP, and JavaScript. I've worked across different stacks, mostly building
backend systems and APIs, but I’m comfortable doing full-stack work when
needed.

I’ve contributed to projects in marketplaces, real estate, healthcare,
Web3, finance, and e-commerce. Most recently, I’ve been focused on Elixir
and Phoenix LiveView, and I really enjoy the simplicity and clarity the
language brings. I’ve also worked with Docker, PostgreSQL, and various
frontend frameworks like Svelte and AlpineJS.

I’ve made mistakes, missed deadlines, and learned a lot from them.
I take responsibility and try to get better with every project.

PS: I am a theoretical physicist. I deliberately abandoned my PhD and left
academia as an act of protest.

HOW I WORK
------------------------------------------

I work best in small teams where the codebase, product needs, and business
reality are close together. I am not a loud management type. I prefer direct
communication, clear ownership, honest tradeoffs, code that is easy to read,
and steady delivery.

I question things when they do not make sense. That does not mean I want
conflict. It means I want the team to avoid habits, rewrites, vague tickets,
and technical decisions that create more problems than they solve.

I usually help by making unclear work clearer: what the problem is, what
matters, what can wait, who owns the next step, and what a good enough
result looks like. I care about maintainability, but I also care about
shipping. The useful answer is usually the one that respects both.

LEADERSHIP STYLE
------------------------------------------

I lead through clarity, responsibility, and useful feedback. I do not need
to be the loudest person in the room. I am comfortable reviewing code,
mentoring developers, documenting decisions, explaining tradeoffs, and
protecting the team from unnecessary noise.

BEST-FIT WORK
------------------------------------------

I fit well in teams working on legacy systems, internal tools, backend-heavy
products, LiveView applications, Rails-to-Elixir modernization, and
AI-assisted codebase improvement. I prefer careful upgrades over rewrites
unless a rewrite has a clear business reason.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
------------------------------------------

Be clear. Be useful. Tell the truth. Keep the code understandable. Do not
make the work more dramatic than it needs to be.
